Oliverson, Twin Bridges run away from Copperheads
The Copperheads got a front row seat to the Kailee Oliverson show Friday afternoon.
Oliverson, a 6-foot-3 Nevada-commit, scored 27 points including what was thought to be double-digit rebounds and blocks en route to a 59-25 nonconferece win over Anaconda Friday afternoon at the Imery’s Tip Off Classic in Three Forks.
Twin Bridges led from wire to wire, outscoring Anaconda 14-2 in the first quarter. The Copperheads scored 14 of their 25 in the final frame.
Anaconda (0-1) was led by senior Sydnie Peterson’s nine followed by sophomore Isabel Saltenberger’s seven. Freshman Megan Reich scored four off the bench while classmate Mia Sullivan-Sanders had two — both were the first points in their varsity careers.
Anaconda will be back on the court Saturday at 1 p.m. to take on Jefferson. Live coverage will be available at http://copperheadcountry.airtime.pro
