The never-ending onslaught of hitters was on full display Thursday night. Dillon outhit Anaconda 29-14 and in turn caused unlimited pressure at the net en route to a 25-11, 25-18, 25-12 straight-sets win over the Copperheads at Memorial Gymnasium.

Of Dillon’s 29 kills, it was the combination from the middle of Tesh Tash and Kaitlyn Konen with eight and seven kills, respectively. Cassie Keller had six kills and five aces from the outside. Tash and Konen also tallied two solo blocks apiece.

Anaconda only served 38 times, committing 12 errors to compound their troubles. Offensively, Anaconda was led by the four kills apiece by Logan McKay and Addison Jovonavich, three by setter Addie Olson, two by Josie McKelvy and one by Brigid Mehrens. Defensively Maizee Mitchell and Jovanovich had a block each.
