Following their first ever win over Eureka in football, four players shared the nod for this edition of the Copperhead Athletes of the Week presented by Dee Motors, Community Hospital of Anaconda, Skyline Sports, Crawshaw Family McDonalds, Washoe Theatre, Zo Photo and Copperhead Country.
The Copperheads kept their playoff hopes alive last Friday, making the long bus ride to Eureka for a 34-8 win – their first ever win over the Lions.
Rory Cromwell had a season- and career-high rushing performance with 12 carries and 80 yards including one catch for 13 yards and an interception.
Bohdi Keeland had a season- and career-high 113 yards receiving with an 82-yard TD reception.
Gillie Everett came up with three big third down receptions to keep drives going and had four catches for 66 yards.
Gus Johnson had a crucial fumble recovery and recorded seven tackles at linebacker.
All season long, each winner of the AOTW will receive movie tickets to Washoe Theatre, a $10 gift card to McDonald’s and at the end of each season will be entered for a chance to win a $250 Athletes Pass from Shine PT+Wellness.
