Peterson's career-night propels Anaconda past TFalls

Coming into Saturday only four girls in Anaconda High School history have ever broken the 30-point barrier. Now there’s five.
Senior point guard Sydnie Peterson scored a career-high 34 to pace Anaconda in a 89-68 nonconference road win over Thompson Falls Saturday night.
Peterson went 13-of-25 from the field with four treys and 4-of-7 from the line. She now joins Torry Hill (15), Debbie Sullivan (2), Kim Masella and Jaime Nicholls in the 30-point club.
Logan Stetzner and Johannah Forsberg were also in double figures for the Copperheads, scoring 16 and 12, respectively.
The Lady Blue Hawks were led by Megan Baxter’s 25 and Jody Detlaff’s 16.
